Welcome
Trip and Hendry
Hello and welcome to Trip & Hendry, a website where we share the flowers, plants and wildlife we spot on our walks.
Up hills, along the shore, and through the city streets of Scotland.
BEAUTIFUL Scotland
Scotland has a way of getting under your skin
Trip and Hendry keep this notebook because some things are too good to keep to yourself. A wildflower opening after rain. A stag turning at the sound of your boot. The particular silence of a glen at first light. Everything gathered here was found on foot, watched patiently, and written down before it slipped away.
No expertise required to come along. Only a little curiosity and a willingness to look closer than you did yesterday.

Flora
Heather, harebell and bog myrtle. The wildflowers and green growing things that stitch the hillsides together, season by season.

Fauna & Wildlife
Red deer on the ridge, otters in the loch, an eagle riding the updraught. The creatures that make the wild feel awake.

Gallery
Every walk brings something worth keeping. A gathering of photographs from the moor, the woodland and the water’s edge.
